LOVE,
YOUR STORY
Photography and graphic design are essential in today's visual-centric world. They capture and convey messages, emotions, and stories in a way words often can't.
Quality photography can immortalize moments and create powerful connections, while effective graphic design enhances communication, branding, and user experience. Together, they shape perceptions, influence decisions, and drive engagement, making them indispensable tools for personal expression and professional success.
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
From a very young age, I was hypnotized by photography. The thought that an ordinary person like myself could capture a moment before it is lost in time forever has always been incredible to me.
In the beginning, I found myself taking pictures of my surroundings; my family, my pets, my room, anything, and everything. It wasn’t until I was about twelve years old that I began to turn a corner with my photography. I wanted to take pictures of people, but when no one was around, I used myself as a model. I would set myself up in front of a window and take photos in many different poses.
Flash-forward to my current career as a photographer. It was difficult to find something that I felt that I was truly good at. Before I even realized what I was doing, I found myself again setting up in front of a window and creating my projects.
My work mostly consists of self-portraits. I found that the pros of using myself as a model for my projects is not only convenient but has helped bring me to convey my own version of beauty and the power of femininity to the world. My family consists of mostly women who all took part in raising me, I grew up with a deep appreciation for the strength of women. In my work, I aim to promote the capability and influence that all women possess.
Along with directing myself and evoking feminine beauty, storytelling is a very big part of my work. Every project has a story and every story is told through my eyes and ideas. Many of the projects in my portfolio are based on stories told in the bible, stories I grew up hearing and reading about, or stories that I would like to tell about myself.
It has been very interesting to discover who I am through photography. Through storytelling, I can share my ideas about how the world works and my view on femininity and power.
